     From past to present in Turkey, the importance of the help that can be received from the helping professions in the field of social services has been ignored and the interaction has remained at minimum levels. However, this situation did not change the need for auxiliary professional groups and intermediate staff in the field of social services, which is quite large. At this very point, the social services associate degree program established within the Kurtalan Vocational School (Vocational School) emerges as an education unit that aims to train qualified intermediate staff in order to fill the gap in the fields of social work. Both the abundance of social service areas and social problems and the scarcity of qualified workforce necessitate the existence of trained intermediate staff.
